AI EoI submission deadline extended to Dec 14 due to Covid-19


New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS): The Centre on Thursday extended the deadline for submitting the bids to buy 100 per cent stake in national carrier Air India to December 14 from October 30.

According to Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri: "The delay took place because of Covid related lockdown."

On its part, the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) issued the ninth corrigendum to the global invitation for Expression of Interest (EoI) for the proposed divestment of Air India.
