Dubai, Oct 31: According to the information given by the ministry of health and prevention, UAE reported two deaths on Friday October 30. In addition, the country reported 1,172 new cases of coronavirus and 1,460 recoveries. The number of people on whom the Covid-19 test was carried out as a precautionary measure was 1,43,336. The total number of people tested so far in the Gulf nation has gone up to 13 million now.
The recovery rate was 96.8 percent with 1,500 people recovering on Friday. This is remarkable by any standard. UAE also has the lowest mortality rate of 0.5 percent in the whole world. This is because of the strong support given by the UAE government to the health sector say the doctors. The increase of Covid testing has also helped the health professionals to detect the cases at early stages making recovery possible.

At the same time, the event which families and individuals in the country look forward to every year Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) was held on Friday October 30. This is the fourth edition of the edition, which is titled 'Safe and Sanitised'. The event kicked off at more than 150 locations across the country with instructions on social distancing, safety, and hygiene rules and sanitization. More than 200 virtual sessions and 2,000 classes were also held as part of the event.
