The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has selected the students on the basis of their academic performance, behaviour in school and participation in extra-curricular activities.

ADEC Director General Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili said they will travel for five weeks in July to study English, Maths, Science and leadership skills.

Undergoing various training courses, interaction with families and visiting schools and cultural sites are also part of the annual programme, Al Khaili said.

The ADEC is also in the process of selecting 60 supervisors who will accompany the students during their travels.
