Mangaluru, Nov 3: Bank of Baroda of the zone is observing a Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27. The event concluded on Tuesday with a blood donation camp conducted by the bank in association with Red Cross Society.
Vigilance Awareness Week was observed by the Mangalore zonal office of the bank along with its seven regional offices and 390 branches across 21 districts of Karnataka under the theme ‘Vigilant India – Prosperous India'. The concluding event of the blood donation camp was attended by Dr Rajendra K, IAS, deputy commissioner, Dakshina Kannada District, Shrinivas Nayak Indaje, the president DK district working journalists union (Regd) and DK district Rajyostava Awardee 2020. The event was also graced by other dignitaries from the Red Cross Society in the presence of Sujaya U Shetty, the general manager and zonal head, Mangaluru zone. As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, the bank’s Mangaluru zone has also conducted various events like the integrity pledge by the staff and customers, grama sabha, essay competition, rangoli competition.
