Mangaluru, Nov 4: The annual college magazine of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College ‘Pioneer 2020’ was released on November 2 by the chief guest and president Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho the director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, at the college auditorium at 3.00 pm.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by the interns of the 2020-21 batch. The dignitaries present on the dais were Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director of FMCI, Fr Roshan Crasta the administrator of FMHMC, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, principal of FMHMC and Dr Vivek Sakthidharan, staff chief editor of Pioneer 2020.
The gathering was welcomed by the principal, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran with a note on the legacy of Father Muller and the zeal that has inspired them to serve the suffering humanity.
It was followed by the release of the 23rd issue of the annual college magazine, Pioneer 2020, by Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, along with the other dignitaries.

The prize distribution was held for the e-poster and HomoeoSECTION - Homoeopathic Illustration Competitions held as part of conJOINT 2020, Continuing Education Activity, organized by the department of Surgery and Materia Medica in view of World Arthritis Day 2020 which was announced by Dr Sherlyn E Paul the assistant professor of the department of Materia Medica, FMHMC.
Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, president of the function, expressed his joy in compiling this literary publication which sees improvement and innovations year by year. He said it also serves to reclaim the memories and refresh those cherishable moments in the future.
Dr Vivek Sakthidharan, the chief staff editor of Pioneer 2020, proposed the vote of thanks.
Dr Sudipti Singh and Shreyank Kotian were the MCs for the programme.
The function concluded with the institution anthem at 4 p.m.
