Dalmia Bharat appoints Rajiv Bansal as Sr Executive Director


New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS): Dalmia Bharat Group on Thursday announced appointment of Rajiv Bansal as the Senior Executive Director in Managing Director's office.

Rajiv joins the Dalmia Bharat Group from DXC Technology, one of the largest IT services companies in the world, where he served as the CFO of their $9 billion Americas business. Prior to DXC, he was the CFO of Ola (ANI Technologies), and prior to Bansal was the Global CFO of IT major Infosys.

Commenting on the appointment, Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Limited said, "We are delighted to have Rajiv as part of our senior leadership team. Rajiv brings with him rich global experience, proven leadership and deep strategic insights. He will be working very closely with me and Mahendra Singhi - MD & CEO Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd. to strengthen our existing goals and strategies and in formulating and implementing newer initiatives."

Rajiv has over 26 years of experience across various Industries like Power generation, Telecom, IT services and Internet start-up. Rajiv is a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Calcutta University and is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant.
