Major reshuffle in Delhi bureaucracy, DC South made NDMC Secy


New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS): In a major reshuffle in the national capital's administration, various transfers have been effected at the bureaucracy level, including that of Deputy Commissioner (South), BM Mishra.

Mishra, who is currently holding the charge of Deputy Commissioner (South), Revenue Department, has now been posted as Secretary, New Delhi Municipal Corporation, with additional charge of CEO, NDMC Smart City Ltd.

Amit Singla, who is currently holding the charge of NDMC Secretary, has now been made CEO, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB). With this apointment, Singla will relieve G.S. Meena from the additional charge of CEO, DUSIB.

Replacing Mishra, Ankita Chakravarty will now become the new Deputy Commissioner (South) with additional charge of Director, DIHRM.

She will also hold the additional charge of Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary.

Apart from this, Harleen Kaur has been handed the additional charge of Special Secretary (Services).
