Bangalore, May 5: State primary and secondary education minister, Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, said on Tuesday May 4 that the result of the SSLC examination held in the state recently, will be declared on Thursday May 6. The second pre university class (PUC) results will be declared the next day.

The SSLC results will be posted on Thursday morning in the Board’s website, whereas the same will be displayed in the notice boards of all the high schools at 2 pm on May 6, he said.

The PUC results will be announced in the respective institutions on Friday May 7 morning, but they will be available in the PU Board website since the evening of May 6 itself, he revealed.

A common phenomenon observed among the students who do not get the results as expected by them, is to feel mental pressure and losing their self-confidence. They need counselling. For helping such students, the PU education department will be opening a helpline No. 080-23366778 and 23366779, for providing counseling services for such students from may 5 to 7.
