Mangalore, May 5: A woman lost her life after having been knocked down by a motor bike on Bondel-Pachchanady Road in the city on Tuesday May 4 afternoon.
Rukmini (51), a resident of Pachchanady, was walking on the road at around 2 pm on Tuesday, when a motor bike knocked her down. She sustained serious injuries to her head and other parts of the body. Immediately thereafter, she was rushed to a private hospital here, but she breathed her last without responding to treatments the same evening.
A case has been registered in this respect, in Kavoor police station here.
