Sullia: Expulsions Galore - Kin of DVS among Those Axed by BJP

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (SP)

Sullia, May 5: Sullia, which has always been laying thrust on party discipline, has, in a fresh bout of disciplinary actions, expelled four persons including Nagesh Devargunda, former president of Mandekolu gram panchayat and a relative of Udupi MP, D V Sadanand Gowda, from the primary membership of the party.

The others who have faced the axe are, Narayan Alankalya, former member of Mandekolu gram panchayat, as well as Teertharam Jalsoor and Sanat Adkar, who are contesting the gram panchayat elections as rebel candidates of the BJP. They have been expelled from the party’s primary membership for six years. This action has been taken by the party’s regional committee president, Venkat Dambekody, as per the recommendations of the party’s ‘Shakti Kendra’, informed media secretary of the party, Muralikrishna Challangar, in a release.

It may be recalled that former president of BJP Shakti Kendra, Chandra Kolchar, had been expelled from the party for his outbursts against a Sangh Parivar leader a few months back. Sullia BJP had also recommended to the district committee of the party for the expulsion of local town panchayat president, N A Ramachandra, APMC president, N Jayaprakash Rai, and former taluk panchayat member, Krishnakumar Rudrapada, for commenting that the expulsion of Kolchar was not a right step. This recommendation has been kept in the backburner for the present.

A month back, a person, who had contested against the BJP’s official candidate in the cooperative bank election, and three others, who supported him, were shown the door.

It is not yet certain, as to how far these expulsions will cast their influence on the chances of the BJP in the coming gram panchayat elections in the taluk, considering that this region boasts of a motley crowd of those expelled from the BJP.

Expulsion will not cast their influence on BJP. Because BJP is projected as Hindu religion. Come what may, BJP will win election on Hinduthwa card in DK, though most intelligent districts. There may be rape case or extortions against them! They have strong religion card to gain power and money and people to blindly follow the party with religion faith!! God save the faithful!!!! from cheaters!!
