Udupi: District BJP to launch training for party leaders

Udupi, Nov 11: Udupi district BJP is set to launch a day-long training for the district level leaders on various subjects at Hotel Sharada International, here, on Thursday November 12.

BJP state president, Nalin Kumar Kateel will inaugurate the training programme.

Mangaluru division in-charge Uday Kumar Shetty speaking at a press meet held at BJP office Kadiyali, here, on Wednesday said, "The main purpose of the programme is to educate the district leaders on ten various subjects like Atma Nirbhar, personality development, after 2014 government of India, party and the Sangh Parivar, BJP history and development and use of social media, structure of Sangh Parivar, achievements of the state government."

Leaders from three districts Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu would be participating. It is estimated that around 30 persons each from the three districts would be attending the programme. Local leaders and MLAs will also be present for the programme.

The training is organised as per the instruction given by the state BJP.

Speaking on the recent by-election, Shetty said, "BJP swept two constituency assemblies R R Nagar and Shira. It was a challenge for BJP but finally succeeded. The result surely assures that if anyone joins BJP, the candidate is sure to win," said Uday Kumar.

Kuylady Suresh Naik, district BJP president, Rajesh Kaveri, district co-in-charge, Dakshina Kannada, Manohar Kalmady, district general secretary, Akshay P Shetty, social media convener, Guruprasad, spokesperson, Shivakumar Ambalpady, co-spokesperson, Raghuveer Shenoy, Subramanya Pai were present.
