Udupi, Nov 12: “The decision of the centre to release Rs 900 crore to run goshalas in the country is a welcome move,” stated Yashpal A Suvarna.
“The running of Goshalas has become very expensive due to the corona pandemic. Pejavar math’s Vishwaprasanna Teertha Sripada had submitted a request to the centre in August to release at least Rs 200 crore. The centre has prepared a project worth Rs 900 crore for the financial strength of the goshalas.”
“Cows have a primary part in Indian culture. The financial help will help several goshalas in the country that look after orphaned cows,” he said.
He stated in the press release that he will congratulate prime minister Narendra Modi and finance minister Nirmala Seetaraman who prepared the project despite economic hardship being faced due to the corona pandemic.
