Moodbidri: Carmel School celebrates merry Children's Day

Moodbidri, Nov 13: 'Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured as they are the future of the nation and citizens of our country'– Jawaharlal Nehru

The birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is celebrated as Children’s Day all over the country. Carmel School, here, on November 14 celebrates Children’s Day. To mark this special occasion, the school organized various competitions like kite making for classes from LKG – class 4, wealth out of waste from classes 5 – 7, natural flower arrangement from classes 8 - class 10.

The students actively participated in the competitions from their homes with great enthusiasm.



On the occasion, the school offered prayers for the students, parents, management and for the whole world. The staff and the support staff joined together in dancing to the tune of ‘Hurray Hurrah Happy Children’s Day’ through a video in order to give joy to the students.

The winners of the competition will be awarded certificates.
