South Central Railway diverts 5 trains


Secunderabad, Nov 13 (IANS): The South Central Railway (SCR) zone has diverted five trains due railways tracks doubling works.

"In order to facilitate non-interlocking works related to doubling of track and yard remodelling between Nallapadu - Perecherla stations on Guntur - Guntakal sectionsnewly announced special trains are diverted," said a railway zone official.

The diverted trains include Howrah - Secunderabad; Secunderabad - Howrah; Thiruvananthapuram - Secunderabad; Secunderabad - Thiruvananthapuram and Secunderabad - Guwahati.

Other than the Secunderabad - Guwahati train's weekly frequency, all others are daily specials.

Vijayawada, Kazipet, Secunderabad and Tenali will come in the diverted paths of the respective trains.
