Mumbai, Nov 13 (IANS): Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate closed 9 per cent higher on Friday after Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-led Rare Enterprises picked up 50 lakh shares in the company.
Ace investor Jhunjhunwala's company acquired the shares through an open market transaction at an average price to Rs 57.73 per share, taking the total investment to Rs 28.86 crore.
Its shares on the BSE surged 15.68 per cent to touch an intra-day high of Rs 63.80 per share.
It closed at Rs 60.15, higher by 9.07 per cent from its previous close.
On the other hand, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte - ODI sold over 75.80 lakh shares per cent stake in the company at an average price of Rs 57.16 per share.
