Minor girl raped, stoned to death in Odisha


Bhubaneswar, Nov 13 (IANS): A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped and later stoned to death in Odisha's Dhenkanal district, the police said on Friday.

The incident took place in Kharkhari village under Kankadahada police limits in Dhenkanal district.

The minor girl was missing since Thursday evening. The body was recovered from near a forest by the locals on Friday.

The family members alleged that she was raped and later stoned to death by some miscreants.

Kamakhyanagar sub-divisional police officer Suprasanna Mallick informed that a case has been lodged based on the FIR of the family members and investigation is on.

    O my God again one more child is a opfer of a tragic sadistic act.Rape and then murder it by stoning ,and throw it in forest as if it is a waste product.May God give that little angels soul rest in peace with angels.Heartfelt sympathy to the family and may give the strenght to bear the pain.RIP:poor thing ,she had no chance to know the world and enjoy it .

    We blame western countries for adulteries, now what about this? Is this Indian culture.? killing a baby.. Its really shame on Indian culture. Such people should be brought to justice as soon as possible. Encounter like Andra Prasesh cop duty.
