Hassan, Nov 19: At the District Infrastructure Scheme Advisory Committee meeting held at Hassan zilla panchayat former minister H D Revanna, criticized the BJP government. He accused the government of cancelling the national highway sanctioned from Yadegowdanahalli to Belur and shifted it elsewhere. Revanna said that minister Govind Karjol had shifted the project to his constituency.

Revanna accused the BJP government of indulging in hate politics and questioned executive engineer of national highways, Archana. He also wanted to know about why the condition of Sakleshpura-Mangaluru road is so bad.

Revanna said that if anyone travels by Sakleshpura-Mangaluru road, their body sprains get healed. He said that the road is so bad that many die of accidents there. He questioned officials of national highways authority about the wretched state of this road. The national highways engineer said that a detailed project report has been submitted and patch work is being conducted between Sakleshpura and Ballupet.
