Infuriated over sister's chatting to male friend , minor boy shoots her

New Delhi, Nov 21 (IANS): A minor boy shot at his sister after he got infuriated over her continuous chatting with a male friend, in North East Delhi's Welcome area.

The girl is admitted to a hospital where she is under observation.

The 17-year-old boy has been apprehended.

The incident happened on Thursday when the boy saw her sister chatting with the friend despite his repeated warnings. A heated argument followed after which in a fit of rage he shot at his sister in her stomach with a county-made pistol.

According to police, the boy had procured the illegal weapon from one of his friends.

"A case has been registered and further investigation in progress," said a senior police officer.

    How do these North Indians get weapons so easily especially guns?? There was our Rajastani labours for Tile and granite works, even they said they used to carry the same at their places as it was a common practice there.

    If a girl talks to a male friend, goes out with a male friend, the men have a real problem. It is sad that a minor boy is involved in shooting his own sister, explains that his head, thoughts and mind is filled with filth and the main cause for all this is the parents upbringing. In this advanced society girls are still under control by men explains we are still backward in various ways.
