All the required information will be also available on the GC3 android mobile application. GC3 stands for ‘Gurugram Covid Combat Companion', which is available for download on Google Play Store.

According to the Gurugram administration officials, at present the portal provides information regarding testing centres, helpline numbers, ambulance helpline number, hospital bed availability, location of hospitals, general statistical reports, testing charges, number of Covid-19 patients etc.

Officials said the other useful information related to Covid management will be added to enhance the utility of this portal and application.

During the launch, the Divisional Commissioner, Rajeev Ranjan, stated that the availability of information on various platforms is much needed and these online platforms will provide the requisite information to the end users.

The portal also has provision of administrative login, wherein all departments like Municipal Corporation, Health and Ayush can work in parallel without loss of time for transmission of data. Even data from the ICMR are imported for quick processing by the various departments.

"The portal contains detailed information about every positive patient in the district. The data of patients are updated on this portal on hourly basis," said Chief Medical Officer Virender Yadav.

The officials also claimed that the portal and the app, developed by DAY Technologies in collaboration with Gurugram district administration, can be run with limited internet connectivity.
