Recoveries again outnumber new cases in J&K


Srinagar, Nov 26 (IANS): Recoveries of Covid-19 patients again outnumbered new cases in J&K on Wednesday as 570 patients recovered while 489 were infected in the union territory.

An official bulletin said 570 patients were discharged from different hospitals after recovery today while 489 tested positive, 264 from Jammu division and 225 from Kashmir division.

So far, 1,07,819 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 1,00,892 have recovered.

1,663 patients have succumbed so far including 12 who died today.

The number of active cases is 5,264 outing which 1,983 are from Jammu division and 3,281 are from Kashmir division.
