Mangaluru, Nov 28: Former MLC and Karnataka Pradesh Congress spokesperson Ivan D' Souza on Saturday November 28 said that the police should immediately trace the miscreants behind graffiti favouring terrorist organisations on the wall of an apartment in Bejai.
He was speaking during a protest organised by the Youth Indian National Trade Union Congress (Youth INTUC) in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha.
"Those miscreants who scribbled graffiti favouring terrorist organisations, should be booked under charges of sedition and they should be banished from the country.
“This case is a challenge to the internal security of the country. There is a democracy, constitution and soldiers for the protection of the country. Hence, such culprits deserve maximum punishment. To scribble such a long sentence, maximum time is required. Graffiti in favour of terrorist organisations in the heart of the city depicts failure in policing. Police should immediately arrest the accused,” he said.
Advocate Dinkar Shetty said, "There are several CCTV cameras in the city. Delay in the arrest of culprits is paving way for suspicion. Such miscreants should be booked on the charges of sedition."
The protestors raised slogans against the miscreants for attempting to spoil the peace of the society.
