Mangalore: Baba Ramdev to Visit City on May 27

Mangalore, May 19: ‘Gurudarshan’, a unique programme in the presence of Sri Baba Ramdev, who has been spearheading a movement to prove that Yoga practices and Ayurveda preparations can cure almost all the ailments, and who heads Patanjali Yoga Peeth in Haridwar, will be held in the city on May 27. This programme will be held at Dr T M A Pai International convention Centre in the city, from 5 am to 7 pm that day.

“The Yoga Guru, who will be in the city for the first time, will be delivering discourses on ‘Bharat Swabhiman’ organization, Yoga, and issues relating to Ayurveda,” said Padmaprasad Hegde, honorary president of the district Patanjali Yoga Samiti, at a press conference convened here on Tuesday May 18.

“Guruji Ramdev has set up ‘Bharat Swabhiman’ with the aim of creating a society free of ailments and full of patriotism. The free Yoga camps being conducted by the Guruji with the motto, ‘free health for all’, are providing cure to people from even diseases like cancer. With the regular practice of Pranayama exercises, people can easily get rid of blood pressure, diabetes, asthma etc. This has been proved beyond any doubt,” he said.

For making preparations for Baba Ramdev’s visit here, a consultative meeting is being held at 4 pm on May 20 in the premises of Patanjali Clinic near Baliga Stores, Bejai here. For more information, numbers, 9845070102 and 0824-2211040 may be contacted, he informed.
