Mangalore : `No Tobacco Day’ on May 30

Mangalore, May 19: In view of creating awareness on the ill effects of use of tobacco, the Nehru Yuva Kendra in association with the Centre for Integrated Learning (CIL), Rotary Club of Mangalore Sunrise and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City will be organizing an array of events to mark `No Tobacco Day’ on May 30.

A poster making contest, counseling session on Tobacco Use and its ill effects, street plays and interactions will mark the observance.

Students are invited to send the entries to the poster making competition by creating a poster on a chart paper of size 20x35cm. The topic for the contest is: “Tobacco and it’s ill effects” and the prizes would be awarded in two categories: High School and College Students. The entries can be personally handed over at the office of Nehru Yuva Kendra, PWD office, Near RTO, Mangalore.  Last date for entries is May 28th.For further details contact Dinesh, President- Rotaract Club (92429 26979) or Trishma Pinto, Coordinator – CIL (94495 69694).
