Chitradurga, Dec 6: A KSRTC bus overturned to the side of the road as the driver lost the control. Two people died on the spot and five got injured. This accident occurred at around 4 am on Sunday, December 6 on Challakere road of Hiriyur city.

The bus, which belongs to North East transport corporation was plying from Shahapura to Bengaluru. Around 50 passengers were there in the bus, as per the reports. Two of the injured are in serious condition. They are admitted to the hospital.

A case in this regard is registered in Hiriyur police station.
