Mangaluru, Dec 7: Those who wrote anti-national slogans on the walls of the city are in the news. At the same time, a youth here, who has been drawing paintings which tastefully depict the rich cultural heritage of the country, has been silently winning hearts.

A few perverts find happiness by using walls to air their anti-national sentiments and thus trying to disrupt the sovereignty and peace of the country. At the same time, there are people who beautifully bring to life paintings which match the cultural heritage of the country. Let us overlook those who deface the walls, and concentrate on those who try to establish place by beautifying them.

Pictures of Lord Shiva, tiger, Shivaji Maharaj, several pictures showcasing Kathakali form of dance etc adorn the wall of a private apartment complex on Gurumpe Road leading to Hoigebail from Ashoknagar here. Nitesh is the creator of these art forms.

Nitesh has adopted painting as a hobby for the last eight years. He utilised the opportunity provided by lockdown and got busy with creating paintings on the walls. He has drawn such paintings at many places including Bengaluru and several places in Kerala.
