Bangalore: MLA Haris’s Relative among Air Crash Victim

Bangalore, May 23: Ibrahim Khaleel (50), a relative of Shantinagar MLA N A Haris also died in the air crash on Saturday May 22.

Khaleel, a businessman from Kasargod had gone to Dubai four days ago and was supposed to return on Sunday. But unfortunately he advanced his flight to board Saturday’s fateful 1X 812 Air India Express Boeing, which crashed on landing.

Khaleel has left behind three children and wife. His family was very much dependent on him. To add to the misery, his body was not found till late Saturday evening, though nearly 140 bodies were pulled out.

He was also president of the well known Malik Dinar Mosque in Kasragod.

Haris who rushed to Mangalore immediately after receiving the news said that it was a terrible shock t the family and atleast 12 people on the flight were known to him.
