Recoveries again outnumber new Covid cases in J&K


Jammu, Dec 15 (IANS): Recoveries again outnumbered new coronavirus cases in J&K on Tuesday as 460 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery while 346 new cases came to light during the last 24 hours.

An official bulletin said that of the new cases, 200 were from the Jammu division and 146 from the Kashmir division.

So far, 116,600 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 110,354 have recovered, while 1,812 people have so far succumbed, including 10 who succumbed on Tuesday.

The number of active cases is 4,434 out of which 2122 are in the Jammu division and 2312 are in the Kashmir division.
