Mangaluru, Dec 19: College of Computer Science and Information Science, Srinivas University in association with IEEE Srinivas University student branch on Saturday December 19 organized a national-level virtual conference on Future Technologies of IT, management, education and Social Science at Srinivas University city campus, Pandeshwara, here.

Shyamprasad Hebbar, senior vice-president of Corporate Services Diya Systems Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru was the chief guest of the conference. He said, "Usage of technologies during Covid-19 has reached almost all the sectors. Availability and accessibility of virtual platforms have reached every age group like school students to working employees." He added that even this has given the privilege to regain every employee’s career because of work from home aspects.

Dr P S Aithal, the vice-chancellor of Srinivas University presided over the programme motivating the candidates to adopt the use of online platform in their day-to-day life.

The abstract proceeding of the conference was released at the conference. The research scholars, students and academics presented the papers. More than 40 research papers were received and presented at the conference. All the papers presented will be published after review in international journals along with ISBN proceedings.

Professor Shridhara Acharya, dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Science welcomed the gathering, Dr Krishna Prasad K, convener of the conference briefed about the conference, Professor Jeetha proposed the vote of thanks and Professor Panchajanyeshwary managed the stage programme.
