Udupi: Sand Art Creates Awareness on World Tobacco Day

Udupi, Jun 2: The artists of Manipal Sand Art and Artists Forum sculpted sand art to convey the evils of tobacco consumption to commemorate World Tobacco Day on Monday May 31 at Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Greens, Manipal, here. 



Sculptors Srinath Manipal, Venki Palimar, and Ravi Hirebettu sculpted to create awareness on the health hazards of consuming tobacco in various forms.
 
The programme was organized in association with Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Hospital and KMC, Manipal.

    I am a graduate of KMC Manipal 1993. I am so proud of the college for battling against smoking in such a creative manner. Well done.The sculptors are amazing!
