14 injured in Pakistan grenade attack


Islamabad, Dec 30 (IANS): Fourteen people, including two security personnel, were injured in a grenade attack in Pakistan's Balochistan province.

On Tuesday, a vehicle of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps was passing by a busy market area in Surab city when it was attacked, Xinhua news agency quoted local media reports as saying.

The reports added that the injured also included passersby who were shopping in the market.

The wounded were shifted to a nearby hospital, but their conditions are not known.

The area was cordoned off by police and security forces for investigations.

No group or individual has claimed the attack yet.
