6 Odisha officials given compulsory retirement


Bhubaneswar, Dec 30 (IANS): The Odisha government on Wednesday compulsorily retired six officials -- four engineers and two excise staff -- on charges of corruption and inefficiency.

These are Keonjhar Rural Works Division Deputy Executive Engineer Ajit Kumar Debata, Cuttack R&B Division Assistant Engineer (Quality Control) Jitendra Kumar Dalai, Mayurbhanj district's Karanjia Rural Works Section-I Assistant Engineer Bijay Parida, Bhubaneswar R&B Division No II Assistant Engineer Ganeswar Sethi, Odisha Beverage Corporation Ltd Sambalpur Branch Manager-cum-Deputy Superintendent of Excise Jaydeep Pattnaik and Sundargarh Excise Inspector Riaz Mohammed Baig.
