Mangaluru, Jan 4: Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have pasted posters in all the temples in Ullal region, duly stipulating dress code for entering them.

As per the banners hung at these temples, only those who are dressed in traditional wear would be allowed entry.

These posters have been displayed in many temples in the area including Sri Vyaghra Chamundeshwari temple at Ullal.

I find this dress code Poster is not needed.I see mostly who visit temples are wearing their traditional dress .Even men may dress in traditional. And one should also accept people who come in as visitors in jeans or t shirts.Noone goes to temples to make dance or any other business. One can only make them understand it is not allowed next time.one should also be bit liberal .Only can abandon them when dressed in sexy dresses.

    Moshu,

At-least once in your life, please visit an Arab nation where women are praying in mosques. They have a separate floor, separate entrance. But prayer time is common. Islam to Indians is taught by Arabs, not the other way around, if you're preparing to say that what is practiced in Asian Subcontinent is the original method.

Pant-shirt is also not a Hindu traditional dress, it's a gift from western dress style. In fact, now-a-day's underwear is also not an indian tradition. If some one, including the people who have put up this banner, wants to strictly go with Hindu tradition, then they must wear 'Komana' (ಕೋಮಣ)- a single piece of clothe tied to a black thread or silver thread around the waist, which our grandfathers used to wear.

All must follow the culture. People come to pray not for fashion show. Every religion have their own culture and tradition. Don't ague for dress code. Believe in God go to temple or go to park or beach.

Schools and Colleges are also just like temples. First of all they must make this dress code to all teachers according to their their school uniform. Now a days the teachers are wearing latest types dress and teaching those students in uniform. This development I saw after Corona virus leave period.

you get nowhere looking at clothes and the color of the skin to judge a man. It won’t tell you nothing about what’s inside. That’s where a fellow’s mettle is, and that’s what counts.

    India Hindus deserve this.

It is because of you people that BD/RSS and such groups highlighted cow theft/illegal transportation to invoke worship feelings in you guys but behind the scene it is those very group members contracted theft and transportation. Hope you guys remember Anil Prabhu. It is because of you people that cow slaughter is banned and a farmer is left to look after his old cows till 17 years of age and then give it away for slaughter.

Now, go back to cave tradition, clothes your teenage girl from head to toe in a saree and son in Mundu/jubba if you want to take them to a temple. Else, leave them at home and you parents to to worship.

    Happy life people, enjoy.

    Namaazzzz ???

I shrunk with ambarassment when a friend tried her best with temple security to allow her 10 year old daughter inside. The girl was gracefully dressed in shorts and a T-shirt.

Well, that was too much of her but insisting on specific dress code by BD/RS groups ?? That too is way too much. Nobody says anything about their girls working as sales staff in tight jeans ?? Why ?? Can't the groups pressurise on keeping Indian attire intact ?

RSS, BD, VHL all are nothing but Talibans of New India.

They have full blessings of BJP.

The youth should stop going to temples and when the revenue falls all will come in line.
