Recoveries again outnumber new Covid cases in J&K


Jammu, Jan 6 (IANS): Recoveries again outnumbered new Covid-19 cases in J&K on Tuesday as 215 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery while only 137 new cases came to light during the last 24 hours.

An official bulletin said that of the new cases, 71 were from the Jammu division and 66 from the Kashmir division.

So far, 121,923 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 117,426 have recovered, while 1,897 people have succumbed, including six on Tuesday.

Total number of active cases is 2,600 out of which 1,195 are from the Jammu division and 1,405 from the Kashmir division.
