TN Food Minister Kamaraj to be discharged soon


Chennai, Jan 7 (IANS): Tamil Nadu Minister for Food and Civil Supplies R. Kamaraj -- a Covid-19 patient, will be discharged soon, officials of a private hospital where he was admitted said on Thursday.

In a statement, MIOT Hospitals said Kamaraj who tested RT-PCR positive was admitted for observation on January 5.

"His CT scan is normal. He is asymptomatic, comfortable on room air and not needing any supplemental oxygen," the hospital said.

"He will be discharged shortly," the statement added.
