Two Arrested in Abu Dhabi with Cocaine

Abu Dhabi, June 9 (IANS/WAM) Two people were arrested here on charges of processing and selling cocaine.

They were arrested while trying to sell the cocaine to an undercover agent of the Criminal Investigation Department.

During interrogation, the duo said that they had brought the cocaine from Tanzania. The first suspect pleaded guilty to selling and using cocaine while the other pleaded guilty to processing and selling it. They had more than one kg of the drug.

The public prosecutor referred them to the Criminal Court of Abu Dhabi seeking the harshest sentence for them.
