Distressed to see news on rioting and violence: PM on US Capitol chaos

New Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condemned the violent chaos that unfolded a day ago at the US Capitol in Washington D.C., saying "orderly and peaceful transfer of power must continue".

"Distressed to see news about rioting and violence in Washington D.C. Orderly and peaceful transfer of power must continue.

"The democratic process cannot be allowed to be subverted through unlawful protests," Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister's remarks came after thousands of supporters of sitting US President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol building, deemed as the citadel of American democracy, on Wednesday afternoon, forcing proceedings to count Electoral College votes cast in the November 3, 2020 presidential election, to halt.

Lawmakers had to be evacuated from the House and the Senate, and the Capitol was vandalised.

At least four people have been killed, 52 arrested and 14 police officers injured as a result of the violence.

The Capitol building houses the US Congress and is the seat of the legislative branch of the American government.

Modiji, great! Why do you distressed at US rioters?? Our own Farmers are on agitation for nearly two months and demanding their rights and in couse lost many lives!!!??? You are least bothered and no time to speak directly with them??? Farmers face severe problems and difficulties like severe cold, rains, sanitation, covid 19 disease in addition of their demands. Farmers are backbone of our country and not the crony capitalists like ADANI, AMBANI, MEHTA, SANDESARAI, NIRAV, LALIT and many businessmen. LEADER'S comes and goes but farmers will remain.

Make or break situation for these protesters, either communism or freedom. They had no choice after stolen election, media censor by left leaning communist democrat controlled media. Same happenning with this communist chinese corona virus for rest of the world (with one sided story coming out of WHO and CDCs being under communist control and from their controlled media) and with their mind controlling or damaging immune system vaccines for depopulation which eventually lead to communist control of the whole world.

If one opts for to much liberalism that communists offer in these countries, then these things bound to happen. They first brainwash with their gender ideology, abortion, same sex marriage which are all communist ideologies. Initially it looks like freedom for young generation and slowly but suddenly fall prey to dictatorship or total communist control. Communist democrat had also no choice but steal the election either they go behind the bars or control the media and send opposition out!

In spite of Trump-like oratory, farmers have shown restraint and not descended into hell of chaos and rioting or stormed the Parliament.

    Modiji,
You are lucky, you are the PM of Gandhiji's India, where the farmers are silently, peacpeacefully protesting. It would not have been same if it was Ghodse's India. Thankful that you get to sleep peacefully, please remember this when questioning '70 saal mein kyaa kiyaa'

I'm sure Trump and Biden are not as lucky as you are. Do give a heed to what the farmers have to say, not only what your corporate friends want.

The people of the nation are distressed with just one sight, that is of our poor farmers on the streets demonstrating since more than a month . We do not care what happens to US, because our priority is our poor farmers who feed us. God bless them and save them from the cunning and greedy politicians .
