Beijing, Jun 10 (IANS): More than 1,000 new electronic products will be launched at the International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES) to be held in China July 8-11, organisers have said.
Up to 500 electronic goods manufacturers, including IT giants Microsoft, Intel, and Canon, will participate in the Asia's largest technology fair.
The event in the east China's Qingdao city will witness a 10 percent increase in the number of vendors as compared to last year, Xinhua reported.
During the event based on the theme of "Convergence and Innovation", The vendors will have an opportunity to take part in 30 different forums focusing on topics such as the sustainability of consumer electronics and 3G telecommunications developments.
The fair is expected to draw 700 buyers from across the world, an increase of 20 percent over past years.
Accounting for 13 percent of the global consumer electronics industry, China has grown into the world's largest electronics manufacturing base and the second largest consumer market for electronics products.
