Tel Aviv: Indian Community Israel Celebrates Fourth Annual Day

Tel Aviv, Jun 11: The Indian Community Israel (ICI) celebrated its fourth annual day here, recently.

A cultural programme was organized on the occasion. Galaxy beat group presented songs of different languages of India. Indian Jewish dance group showcased their talent through a dance for Hindi songs. Wilfy Mascarenhas and his group entertained the audience with their mind-blowing jokes. Baila dance was conducted for the audience gathered for the event.

Fr Arthro, St Antony's Church, Jaffa presided. Former president of Konkan Catholic Sanghatan Praveen Pereira and president of Karwar Diocesan Catholic Community Jacob Fernandes were also present as chief guests.

The prizes were distributed to the winners of cricket and volleyball tournament. The winner of the lucky draw was announced. The president of ICI Benna D'souza and former president ICI John D’Souza were on the dais.

Peter D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Diana presented the annual report. Victor proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Wilson Almeida and Roshan Monteiro.
