Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jan 12: Primary and secondary education minister, S Suresh Kumar, has requested transport minister Laxman Savadi, to pass instruction to the KSRTC staff to pick school and college students whenever they are sighted, and to behave cordially with them.

In a letter to the transport minister, Kumar said that it is found that at various bus stands particularly in rural areas, KSRTC buses do not stop and its personnel behave negligently with students.

He said he has received feedback from even the people about the drivers and conductors talking to students holding passes as if they are being ordered and the students are bound to obey them. Therefore he has requested Savadi to urgently instruct the officials suitably as otherwise the government gets a bad name.
