Youth held with bullets at Metro station in Gurugram


Gurugram, Jan 19 (IANS): A 20-year-old man was apprehended by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at the MG Road metro station in Gurugram for allegedly carrying four bullets in his bag, said the police on Tuesday.

Rohan Yadav hails from Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh and was travelling by Delhi metro when he was intercepted by the CISF at the MG Road metro station, the police added.

"Four bullets were recovered from Rohan's bag during the security check at the MG Road metro station. He was handed over to the police by the CISF personnel for further investigation," said Subhash Boken, the Gurugram Police Spokesperson.

An FIR was registered at the Metro police station under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including the Arms Act.

Rohan would be produced before a local court later on Tuesday for further legal proceedings, Boken added.
