Mangaluru, Jan 30: The National Service Scheme of Milagres College, here on January 30 observed Martyr’s Day and the 73 death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji.
Denzil E Pinto, the NSS programme officer, in his message to the gathering recalled the contributions and thoughts of Gandhiji to society. He said, "Gandhiji was an exemplary leader and was an inspiration to people all over the globe for his two principles: non-violence and truth.
Fr Michael L Santhumayor, principal, Namitha, assistant NSS programme officer and NSS volunteers paid homage to Mahatma Gandhiji.
