Panaji, Feb 12: To intensify the implementation of the plan to revamp the organizational structure in the state, Congress announced that it has formed eight sub-committees headed by senior congressmen to oversee the intensive membership drive in the state. The sub-committees will be working with the coordination committee which is headed by chairman Ramakant Khalap and co-chairman Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco.
The party is intending to implement the strategy outlined by Goa desk-in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao over the next three months.
"The Goa Pradesh Congress coordination committee, headed by former union minister Ramakant Khalap, has started the implementation of the action plan announced by Dinesh Gundu Rao in right earnest," convener M K Shaikh said.
