Mangaluru, Feb 13: Mangalore Productivity Council (MPC) in association with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), here, on February 12 organised a talk on the Union Budget 2021 at Canara College auditorium, MG Road, here.
CA S S Nayak, chairman of ICAI, Mangaluru branch was the resource person for the budget talk. Speaking at the occasion, CA S S Nayak gave the audience an insight into the 'Union Budget of 2021'. "This budget is a far-sighted budget and aims at making India Aatma-Nirbhar. A number of schemes have been announced for various sectors of the economy which were deliberated in detail.”
On the occasion, the recently qualified Chartered Accountants, Clarissa D’Souza and Pratheeksha were felicitated. NMPT chairman, Dr Venkatramana Akkaraju, general manager of Canara Bank, B Yogish Acharya were the chief guests. In the programme, Dr Venkataramana Akkaraju was honored for his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. Vice-chairman of Mangaluru branch of ICAI, CA K S Kamath, MPC president, Rama Rao and MPC secretary, P Ravindra Rao were also present. CA Yashashwini K Amin hosted the programme.
The event was attended by a large number of CAs, businessmen, taxpayers and citizens of Mangaluru.
