Bengaluru, Feb 14: Aishwarya, daughter of KPCC president D K Shivakumar tied the knot with Amarthya Hegde, son of Cafe Coffee Day founder, the late Siddarth Hegde, on Sunday February 14, on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

The marriage was held as per religious traditions. Congress and BJP leaders are expected to participate in the wedding ceremony of Aishwarya and Amarthya, who is also the grandson of former chief minister S M Krishna. In total, about 800 eminent guests have been invited for the marriage.

D K Shivakumar became emotional as Amarthya tied Mangalsutra around the neck of his daughter Aishwarya. In the Sangeet programme also Shivakumar had become emotional as Aishwarya danced to the tune of song 'I Love You Appa'. On the marriage that was held on Sunday, February 14 also Shivakumar put the Akshate on the couple as tears were rolling down his eyes. Aishwarya also became emotional. Aishwarya was looking fabulous in her red bridal saree and golden ornaments.

For the past one week, the marriage celebration of Aishwarya was going on in a splendid manner at the house of D K Shivakumar. Mehendi, Arishina Shastra and Sangeet programmes were held during the past week. The marriage was held at Sheraton hotel of Whitefield in the city on the morning of Sunday. Family members of S M Krishna and D K Shivakumar partook in the marriage celebration.

Only close relatives were invited for the extravaganza. It is said that influential political leaders and entrepreneurs will take part in the wedding reception, which is slated to be held on February 17 at Prestige Golfshire resort. On February 28 dinner programmes for the new guests will be held at Palace grounds of the city. It is said that D K Shivakumar is going to offer dinner to the activists of Congress party as well as his well wishers and supporters.

After the suicide of Siddarth Hegde, the marriage proposal of Amarthya and Aishwarya had taken limelight. In June, 2020, family members of D K Shivakumar had visited the house of S M Krishna and had discussion on marriage. Their engagement was held during the lockdown itself.

Congratulations Aishwarya and Amarthya. As i mentioned several time I don't support any politics. All politicians are same 2 faces of 1 coin. For their benefits they indulge hatred within different faiths. The looser's are poor peoples.
