Puttur: 59-year-old woman injured in Addahole bus-car accident succumbs

Puttur, Feb 14: One of the injured in the accident that occurred between a car and KSRTC bus at Addahole on Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway succumbed to injuries on Sunday February 14.

The deceased has been identified as Mariyamma (59), a resident of Kokkada Patrame.

Seven persons including Mariyamma were injured in the accident. Initial reports had stated that five had been injured.

The other injured persons are recuperating in a private hospital in Mangaluru. Three of the injured were children.

The accident occured when a KSRTC bus rammed into a car at Addahole on Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway here on Saturday, February 13. The car was badly mangled due to the impact of the accident.
