Bantwal, Feb 18: MLA Rajesh Naik stressed the aspect of working for the development of the people rather than indulging in politics. "Work together for the development of each village,” said MLA Rajesh Naik. He was speaking after breaking ground for Jal Jeevan Mission worth Rs 74.93 lac.
“A project of supplying water to every house in Bantwal taluk at a cost of Rs 118 crore is being implemented and Rs 33 crore have been already received. The remaining package of Rs 85 crore will be approved soon. Water will be supplied to all the houses by the end of next year,” MLA Naik said.
“The officials and contractors should try to complete the project within the time limit and make it available to people soon after the amount is released,” he added.
District panchayat member, Manjula Madhava Mave said that the project that is implemented at Peraje in Mani panchayat limits is to ensure that water is available to every person in the village. “May the cooperation from the villagers help in making this dream project of PM Modi a reality.”
