Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College cabinet welcomes new batch with ‘Esperanza – Fuel your Passion’

Mangaluru, Feb 26: The Covid-19 pandemic has led to anxiety and stress among many students as their physical activity has gone down drastically. To create a stress-free environment, ‘Esperanza – Fuel your Passion’, an inter-class event for the first PU students was organised by the St Agnes PU College cabinet from February 22 to 26 with great pomp.

To bring out the extraordinary talents of the students, numerous competitions ranging from literary, quiz, art, dance and dramatics were conducted under the titles:

Splash - A DIY T-Shirt designing
Verbalize - Creative Writing, Switch Side, Dramatizers
Glamaholic - Allure, Nail Art
Quizophilia - Quiz Competition
Variety Entertainment - Theme based variety entertainment

The event culminated with Carpe diem – closing ceremony, where the winners of the various competitions were felicitated.

I SEBA ‘A’ batch emerged as freshers of the year. Throughout the week, the students witnessed a wonderful splash of events which was very well organised by the college cabinet under the able guidance of the vice-principal Sr Janet Sequeira AC.

The first PU students performed to the best of their ability and made the freshers’ week a memorable one.
