Panaji: CM expresses concern as Covid-19 cases rise

Panaji, Feb 27: Chief minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to the people in the state to stay alert and take all the required precautions due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the state.

"The rising Covid-19 cases is a cause of concern. Our government is monitoring the situation closely. Though the situation in Goa is under control, the fight against the pandemic is not over," Sawant said.

He was speaking after a review meeting with the health minister Vishwajit Rane. "Necessary decisions will be taken after the state health department takes stock of the situation in other states," Sawant added.
