J&K reports 63 fresh Covid cases

Jammu, March 1 (IANS): J&K on Monday reported 63 new Covid cases, even as 56 people were discharged after recovery, health officials said.

One person succumbed to the disease in the past 24 hours.

Officials said that of the 63 fresh cases, 9 were from Jammu division and 54 from Kashmir division.

So far, J&K has reported 126,504 total Covid cases, while 1,958 have died.

The number of active cases is 829 out of which 198 are from Jammu division and 631 from Kashmir division.
