Calicut, Mar 4: Flarvisha Velisha Monteiro has won a bronze medal in the high jump event at the 32nd south zone National Junior Athletic Championship, 2021 held in Calicut, Kerala.
Flarvisha had earlier won a silver medal in the Karnataka Junior Athletic Meet held at Moodbidri.
She also took part in the 36th National Junior Athletic championship 2021 held in Guwahati, Assam and in the 18th National Junior Federation Cup 2021 held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Flarvisha also qualified for the Khelo India Youth Games 2021.
Flarvisha is the daughter of Felix Monteiro and Flavy D’Souza of Ranipura. She is a student of 2nd BA LLB at SDM Law College, Mangaluru. She is trained by Balakrishna, Panemangalore.
